Additional guidelines
- All garbage must be bagged.
- Many items are recyclable. The Town receives a rebate on all recyclables collected, so it is in our best interest to separate them from garbage and place them in the recycling dumpster.
- Please respect the posted hours. The attendant needs time to close and open the site. Arriving early or late creates difficulties.
- To improve traffic flow, all cars must enter from Highland Drive on the south side of the building. This enables a drive-through pattern and reduces congestion.
- If you plan to socialize, please pull to the side so you do not block others.
- You may continue to use your residency card to prove residency when needed. A current drivers license with a Town of Port Washington address is also acceptable. It is recommended to bring your residency card just in case.
